Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Teaching
At Wonderland Angels, we make cultural and linguistic diversity a key part of our curriculum. We use culturally relevant teaching to help children build a strong sense of self and community, which boosts their self-esteem and confidence for life. Recognizing and valuing each child’s culture and language is central to their social and emotional growth.
While our program is child-centered, we also place great importance on academics. We use the engaging A Beka Curriculum and modern teaching methods to provide a solid academic foundation.
Technology and Language Learning:
We are preparing children for the 21st century by incorporating technology into our learning activities. We also introduce Spanish as a second language because the early years are the best time to learn a new language.
Focus on STEAM:
Our program includes STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) to encourage children’s natural curiosity. We provide opportunities for them to explore science, use technology, discover engineering, engage in the arts, and apply math to real-world situations.
Our holistic approach focuses on developing the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, linguistically, cognitively, and physically—ensuring they meet developmental milestones and academic benchmarks.
